Parking Lot Changes - COMING FRIDAY, APRIL 11

Traffic changes & parking lot changes will take effect on Friday, April 11th!
 
Please plan accordingly.  Elementary parents, check your child’s folder for more detailed information & a copy of this map.
 
REMEMBER:

You can only ENTER the main parking lot via Victory Lane.
 
You can EXIT the main parking lot on to Mustang Blvd, Victory Lane or Hwy 161 via the new gravel drive.

Again, these changes take effect the morning of Friday, April 11th! Elementary Car Rider lines will run at 3:20 pm each day starting Friday, April 11th!

HSISD is starting a field house remodel and construction of an Athletic Training Center soon!  This project is anticipated to last until May 2026.  For the duration of construction, we will lose part of the south end of the main parking lot to construction fencing and materials.  Attached is a map of how the traffic flow will change during construction.  Please note the yellow lines on the map which show traffic flow. 

Other items of note:

  •  The south end of the main parking lot will be EXIT ONLY from 6:50 am – 4:10 pm, which means there will be NO ACCESS into the main parking lot off Mustang Boulevard.   Please plan accordingly and use Victory Lane to access the main parking lot.
 
  •  There is a new gravel drive from the main parking lot, along the north end of the football field to Hwy 161.  
    1. This is an exit from the main parking lot that should help alleviate traffic on Victory Lane.  It is EXIT ONLY from 6:50 am – 4:10 pm.  
 
  •  4th / 5th Grade Parent Pick Up – Please note that the pick up is in the same location, however, we are moving the car line from the west lane of the parking lot to the east lane of the parking lot.  This should allow you to easily use the Hwy 161 exit from the parking lot or exit on to Victory Lane. 
 
  •  All Elementary Parent Pick Up – We will move up Elementary parent pick up to 3:20 pm.   This should allow us to complete pick up before the high school students exit the parking lot at 3:35 and should also help alleviate some of the traffic congestion.  
 
  •  Please note the two “turn arounds” in the main lot.  One near elementary and one near the construction fencing.  Please use these turn arounds, which will be painted and marked, instead of trying to squeeze between parked cars.
